What time is pick-up?

Pick up times are different depending on the location of your accommodation.
Most pick-ups happen between 7:25 am and 8:15am. See When and where.

When does the tour return?

We strive to return the first of you, to your accommodation, by 5:00 pm. The last drop-off could be 6:00 pm, or later, depending on where you are staying.

What should we wear?

Please wear comfortable casual clothes, and walking shoes. We also recommend you bring a shady hat, at any time of year, and a warm jacket between May and September.

Do we need to re-confirm? -- Yes

We ask you to reconfirm, by telephone 4032 0322, after you arrive in Cairns.
Then we will advise the pick-up time, for your accommodation.

You should re-confirm at least 24 hours prior to tour departure.

How many people does the coach carry?

There are 21 passenger seats, on our air-conditioned coach.

Keeping it small, means you will have a relaxed and personalised tour.

Does the tour pick-up from Port Douglas?

No, there is no pick-up service from Port Douglas.

We are staying in Port Douglas. Can we still do the tour?

Yes you can, BUT you will need to depart Port Douglas at around 7:00 am, and travel to Smithfield, which is almost back to Cairns.

Do packages include accommodation?

No, packages are for day touring only. You should make your own arrangements, at Cairns or one of the northern beaches.

Where is the Smithfield pick-up point?

The Smithfield pick-up point is a bus stop located on the Kennedy Highway (Kuranda Road) opposite Smithfield shopping centre. Further details are available, when needed.

Where are the stops?

All Food Trail Tours' stops, are on the Northern and Central Cairns Highlands, formerly known as the Atherton Tablelands, a short drive inland from Cairns.

Some stops are on private farms, which are not open to the public.
