Step back in time to where Bruno, Louisa and Maria Meloberti produce coffee in the old, traditional way. NQ Gold controls everything from watering plants to roasting plants to roasting
the beans, producing a truly exquisite coffee.
At de Brueys Boutique Wines Bob and Elaine's wines won
awards at both the 2006 and 2009 Australian Fruit Wine Show.
They produce still wines, port style wines, a coffee liqueur
and non dairy tropical creams.
Gallo Dairyland is located on a working dairy farm. producing
lactose free gourmet cheeses and hand crafted chocolates.
Their traditional and lactose free cheeses are produced using
milk from Gallo's own dairy cow herd.
Wondaree produces macadamias - the Australian nut - from
magnificent rainforest trees. They grow, harvest, and pack the
macadamias, which are sold under their own brand name. Our
tour is the way to visit Wondaree. It is not open to the public.
At Lake Barrine you have award winning Devonshire Tea on
the balcony of an 80 year old teahouse. Enjoy stunning views
in a relaxing environment, overlooking a volcanic crater lake.
The short walk to the 1,000 year old Kauri Pines is a must.
The Tolga Hotel , where we have lunch, has a history dating
back to 1885, when timber logging was the main industry for
the region. The hotel provides us with an amazing lunch with
products sourced from local producers.
